Bio

Brandee Simone is a singer-songwriter based in Western Massachusetts, known for her clear, resonant voice and emotionally vivid songwriting. Her songs blend vulnerability, storytelling, and strong melodic sensibility, creating a sound that’s both intimate and powerful.

She started performing as a child with her father, a professional slide guitarist, and went on to study songwriting and audio production in college. Over the years, she’s played shows across the country—primarily in the Northeast—and has opened for artists including George Jones, Emmylou Harris, Dawes, Charmaine Neville, and Junior Brown.

Brandee has released several EPs and a solo album, Medicine Dreams (2019), and continues to collaborate on a wide range of musical projects. Her current project, Brandee Simone and the Lost Hours, features longtime local players Bob Fay (Sebadoh, Deluxx Folk Implosion, Police Kittens), Jim Bliss (Stella Kola, APIE, Wet Tuna), and Andy Goulet (APIE, Opal Canyon, Police Kittens)—a seasoned rhythm section whose textured playing provides the perfect foundation for her voice and songs to shine.
